Catching Point : SHE is a well-known actress with swings smoky voice once asked to do a soundtrack duet with HIM on a movie called The Go-Getters. Just right after, they found a unique interest among each other and built the band with Zooey's self-wroten songs and Ward's unique arrangements and virtuostic guitar playing. The pair originally collaborated via e-mail, with Ward working out of his Portland, Oregon studio and Deschanel in her Los Angeles, California home. At March, 18th 2008, Volume 1 was released. No doubt, the album mostly bears a bold taste upon vintage and oldies music but also fill with modern indiefolk ambience.
